Large, high-quality holiday home of 370 m² with well-maintained furnishings. Laid out garden, swimming pool and brick grill.
The two-storey house contains an living/dining room, an extensive fitted kitchen and 5 bedrooms, 2 of them with en-suite shower rooms. There is a jacuzzi room in the upper floor wit a jacuzzi for 6 persons.
Very quiet urban area, at a distance of about 15 km from the beaches of Pollença and Alcudia.
Sa Pobla, which was known as Uyalfàs under Arab rule, is located on flat terrain, and once formed part of the wet areas that extended as far as Alcudia, Muro and Santa Margalida. The Albufera, now classed as a national park, bears witness to what were once salt lagoons and marshlands.
Sa Pobla is an area principally characterised by agriculture; potatoes above all are grown here and exported throughout the whole of Europe.
The cuisine is very spicy, as you will discover when you taste tapas in the bars on the Plaza Mayor.
One characteristic feature of the cuisine are eels, which were once very numerous in the marshlands and are prepared in a variety of ways.
Parties featuring fires and demons are celebrated during the Sant Antoni religious festival (16 and 17 January). Espinagades, a very spice noodle dish containing spinach and eel, is eaten on the days when the celebrations are taking place.
