Charming old rectory situated south of Siena and set in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of the Crete Senesi, with its gentle hills and famous country roads. Near a small romanic church that dates back to the 12th century, the house is located on a hilltop that dominates the surrounding countryside. A secondary road passes close to the property. From the loggia, situated on the first floor, one can admire the lovely views and have romantic dinners at sundown. Reasonably comfortable furnishings with some Tuscan style antiques. Central heating. Mosquito screenings on the bed room, kitchen and living room windows on the first floor.
Ground floor (independent access from outside only): small private entrance, two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom with shower (window, washing machine and iron facilities), one bathroom with tub.
First floor, access via external staircase: entrance, large living room (satellite TV, CD and DVD player, radio), kitchen (oven, microwave, freezing compartment, dishwasher, toast) with dining area, small living room with TV and access to spacious loggia (25m˛) with table and chairs, one double bedroom, one single bedroom, one bathroom with shower (window).
At guests’ disposal: partly shadowed garden, swimming pool, part of which is elevated (4m x 8m - depth 1.50m, open 28/05 – 01/10), furnished trellised terrace, barbecue, covered parking on premises. Request when booking: suppl. bed (€70.00/week), baby bed (free of charge).
